About

“I’m interested in how one might redeem careless, tangled lines and scratches via the superimposition of water color layers into a composition freely and uncompromisingly open to a viewer’s interpretation.”

Adolfo Morales employs watercolours and inks in combination to create compositions of organic shapes, stains, scratches, and textures on cotton paper.

Notable in his most recent works is the variety of novel chromatic explorations used to open up, and thus introduce new emotions to, his abstract landscapes.

Morales’ background is as a visual designer, and he currently lives and works in Berlin.
